So, let’s see how seven days in the sanitarium alters his perception of reason and madness.

Why Couldn’t Daniele Accept His Mental Illness?

“ Everything Calls for Salvation ” begins with the spangling lights of a nightclub where the narrator, Daniele( played by Federico Cesari), is seen getting zoned out. The moment he reached home, he dozed off and woke up the coming morning in a sanitarium bed. Daniele is now in an internal shelter, but he doesn't indeed know the reason. Doctor Mancino told him that he'd had a violent manic episode last night. He was indeed told byDr. Caroli( played by Raffaella Lebboroni) that he'd attacked his father, who's now rehabilitated. Daniele can not comprehend the situation and tries to recall what happened.

Daniele was a youthful man who suffered from severe depression, which led to a psychotic episode. The former night, when he was admitted to the sanitarium, he got out of control and attacked his parents. presumably under the influence of medicines, he failed to pretend presently and revealed his frustration to the world. When he was brought to the sanitarium and told about this, he faced difficulty accepting everything. It's enough apparent that when a regular person is told that he has an internal illness, he noway wants to believe it. That’s the smirch of internal illness in our society. Just like everyone, Daniele didn't want to believe it at first.

From the discussion with Dr. Cimaroli, it was revealed that Daniele had these issues due to his serotonin insufficiency. He sounded to be unstable and submerged in denial. He rubbed his hands out of fear and started to shiver. Indeed when Mancino talked to him, he was suitable to control his wrathfulness anyhow. latterly, in the men’s ward, he recalled everything that he'd done. The moment he realized his fault, the guilt started to eat him up. He couldn't indeed get along with other people in that ward because he allowed a psychiatric ward was a place for fools. Indeed at night, he couldn't sleep because of the noise made by a case, Mario. He'd only bat around the sanitarium but sleeping came insolvable for him at that place. Daniele refused the remedy since he was ignorant of the soberness of his internal illness and his only concern was what his friends would suppose if they set up out about it.

Why Did Daniele Act Violently Toward His Parents?

Daniele eventually flashed back to the night of his psychotic outbursts and therefore decided to accept his condition rather than run-down from it. He began to understand that he demanded help. His parents were concerned too, but his sister treated him oddly. They were ignorant of Daniele’s illness and how he came willfully. Daniele’s mama reprimanded him for having cocaine in his fund. Daniele learned that his frustration was the result of his medical dependence, and his guilt eased a little when his father came to visit him, but their discussion revealed the reason for his agitation. Daniele worked as a salesman for an air- conditioning company, but he abominated his job, which might have been the abecedarian cause of his sadness and frustration. He was maddened indeed more when his father informed him that the office had granted him a week off. Daniele didn't want to return to that work, but his father was worried when he said that. His father asked him if he wanted to study further, but Daniele expressed his objectiveness in the same way. Daniele sounded to have been under pressure from his family. Since neither of his siblings could study similarly, Daniele’s parents had high expedients for him. Daniele’s work made him feel nothing but obliged to it. These complex studies got piled up in his head, and one day he lashed out violently, which was relatively ruinous for his parents. His parents were worried about him at first but ultimately ate and forgave him. Daniele also honored that his aggressive nature would only push him down from his favored bones, so he began to bear himself and came more compassionate towards others.

How Did Patients From The manly Ward Come So Important To Daniele?

Daniele couldn’t accept his situation when he arrived at the installation and assumed it was solely for fools. His first act on the ward was to convey to others that he wasn't like them, but his perspective changed over time. Daniele spoke with Gianluca( played by Vincenzo Crea), a queer youthful man about the same age as Daniele. Daniele had made it apparent that he simply liked women, but he gradationally realized that there was nothing wrong with Gianluca’s wanting to be friends with him. When Daniele saw Gianluca’s father, an army general, embarrassed by his son’s gender identity, he got angry. In addition to Gianluca, he met Giorgio, Mario, and Madinneno. manly nanny Pino reported that Giorgio( played by Lorenzo Renzi) was a violent patient who was lulled with sleeping capsules. But when Giorgio woke up, we saw a fully different person. He said that he lost his mama when he was a child, which made him violent ever ago. still, Giorgio’s innocence made Daniel his good friend. He began to mingle with the rest of the ward with his calm and fascinating address. Although Giorgio had a threatening appearance, he encouraged others to take part in healthy conditioning. Not a single sign of violence could be observed in him. also, there was Madinneno, who kept chanting the Virgin Mary, but his bitsy little gestures indeed made him important to Daniele. There was Alessandro, who was in a coma and was being fed by his father. He continued to lie down in bed all the time, unfit to communicate his sentiments like everyone differently, so he remained a riddle to Daniele. Daniele wanted him to communicate as well, but when he couldn’t come out of his coma, Daniele spoke to him in his imagination. In his studies, he saw Alessandro appearing and suggesting poetry lines to him. Though it was certain that Daniele penned the lyric by himself, his vision of Alessandro suggested that Daniele didn't want him to feel isolated amid all the energetic and conscious individualities. So, Daniele wanted to produce recollections with Alessandro that were only his.

Mario( played by Andrea Pennacchi), a retired teacher, snappily came Daniele’s favorite person in the ward. Mario’s history was indeed more disturbing because he'd preliminarily tried to murder his wife and kiddies. Now Mario is healed with treatment. His aggressive side had been entirely subdued, and his current form was seen to be tranquil and flowing like a swash. Only Mario encouraged Daniele in his adventures and prompted him to write poetry like the rest of the ward. Mario would see a raspberry outside the window and show it to Daniele. Daniele didn’t get the sign, but Mario wished to fly like a raspberry. He asked to be free of his passions of guilt, trauma, and loneliness. Eventually, the small raspberry showed Mario his way out. He fell from the window and failed. All of these circumstances had left Daniele and the others mentally scarred. Daniele understood why these individualities, who were just a bunch of unknowns to him many days back, had suddenly come so important in his life. In reality, they all came to the sanitarium for treatment and got attached to each other’s pain, problems, and precariousness. So, Daniele set up out that none of them were crazy, but they all had problems like he did.

Why Did Nina Try To Run Down?

Daniele admitted that he'd compulsive studies during a converse with croakers. He was correct, as we observe him getting infatuated with those he loved or felt affection for. Daniele’s rearmost preoccupation was with Nina( played by Fotini Peluso), an actress who was taken to the sanitarium. He'd known Nina since the high academy, and she had been his implicit high academy crush. Daniele couldn’t stop stalking Nina the nanosecond she was brought to the sanitarium. He brazened her, but she had forgotten about him. After patient stalking, Daniele discovered that Nina had tried to kill herself. Nina was an actress with further outside attractiveness than skill. still, she had the air of someone careless, but she was concerned with the spiteful commentary and death pitfalls that kept coming to her Instagram profile. She indeed allowed that if someone saw her in an internal sanitarium, it would hurt her character.

Ludovico, a wedded product director, had assaulted her and now wanted to get relieved of her. Nina’s mama, on the other hand, wasn't concerned about this and wanted her son to be with Ludovico for her enhancement in the assiduity. Nina understandably wanted to take her life because she was girdled by a mama who had such a sick intelligence. She ultimately moved on with Daniele. Nina realized that Daniele wasn't a snooper or a compulsive addict but rather just a joe who had liked her since her academy days when she wasn't notorious. And now that Daniele wanted Nina after seeing her most vulnerable side, she considered spending some quality time with him. Daniele and Nina took a big threat and went up to the roof of the sanitarium. They watched fireworks and spent some time alone. But night shift nanny Rosanna set up everything and brought Daniele down incontinently. Nina left the sanitarium behind everyone’s eyes. But why did she flee the sanitarium after such a beautiful moment with Daniele? That’s because Nina was in a worse state of depression than Daniele, which she didn’t want to accept. When everything got meddled up, and they were dragged down to their wards, Nina ran down.

She didn't run down from Daniele to gutter him, but she ran down from the guilt, from the trauma that she allowed she was about to endure. She ran down to be saved from the dominance of the world. For one time, she wanted to be alone. still, she eventually realized that running down from her problems wouldn’t save her, so she returned to the sanitarium where she could have her loved one by her side. She felt extremely shamefaced because Daniele was charged with going into voluntary confinement for Nina’s escape. Daniele, on the other hand, couldn't accept the fact that Nina had left him and run down. He assumed that he was insignificant to her; she had made such a decision. He came maddened formerly more and lashed out at Nina. He indeed repressed his rage at her since she continued to hide her weakness from the public eye. Nina continued medicine use once they were released from the sanitarium, but this time Daniele was in control as he'd promised his parents to come clean. Although he disrespected Nina, he at least showed her the correct approach. Nina realized that if she refused to accept herself as she was, she'd noway find relief. therefore, at the end of “ Everything Calls for Salvation, ” Nina went live on Instagram and told the world about her depression and visit to an internal shelter. She embraced her internal illness the way one should accept any other illness of the body.

Why Did Daniele Forgive Gianluca? Why Did Mancino Talk roughly To The Cases?
Gianluca had his troubles, which he tried to hide but failed. He had bipolar complaints, so he felt out of control at times. During one of these times, he was invidious of Daniele and his romantic attachment to Nina. Gianluca was an awful person who adored Daniele, but the rejection he felt all the time drove him to do evil effects. The rejection from his parents, and most probably from the rest of society, traumatized him emotionally. His parents indeed admitted him to the sanitarium, believing that his homosexuality was the source of his disease. In such a case, how could one find belonging in the world? Gianluca tried hard enough not to allow negative feelings to affect him, but he eventually failed. He got so jealous of Daniele and Nina that he woke Rossana and told her about what Daniele had done. He latterly felt shamefaced about it and confessed all to Daniele. There we see the change in Daniele’s persona that puzzled us. Daniele was shocked, but rather than crying or cursing Gianluca, he embraced him with affection. Daniele honored that acting duly is delicate for someone who's frequently manhandled. For the sake of their great fellowship, he forgave Gianluca. Daniele forgave him since he understood he'd also squinched up and conducted violently toward his favored bones.

Just like Gianluca, we saw someone differently who was also uncommunicative and mysterious. he's. Mancino. Although Daniele disliked. Mancino because of his harsh and rigid address, was surprised to find out that he spent utmost of the night at the hospital. Mancino is a veiled man whose rigid surface conceals his inner delicate and lyrical studies. He cried in front of the window after Mario’s death, but he pulled himself together snappily. Indeed when Daniele read his lyric at the burial, Mancino might have been the only one who understood the meaning of the lyric because he also wanted to escape from some pain he'd been holding in his heart. He conceded in front of Daniele that he'd these studies in his head but couldn’t express them so nicely. Eventually, he revealed regard for his sensitive side, which earned him Daniele’s respect.

Where Did The Madness Lie? In A Mental Asylum Or The External World?

The men admitted to the ward, including Daniel, appeared to be the most rational people on earth. Although the rest of the world thinks they’re crazy, frenetic, and so on, they appear to be the healthiest individuals. They understand and admire each other’s internal pain and background. On the other hand, one can question those who were there to watch for these people. Pino, a manly nanny at the sanitarium, appears to be the bone who needs help. He's racist as well as homophobic. He told Daniele that Gianluca’s father was too nice to have a queer son. This term inferred that a man’s insanity was manifested through his narrow intelligence. Not only Pino but virtually all of the croakers at the sanitarium were only doing their jobs superficially. Daniele was honored that Mancino didn't hear him while he was talking. indeed. Camarillo inaptly began advising Daniele grounded on the medical history of another case. That’s why Daniele refused to show her the poetry. He allowed
that the poetry he wrote about his mama would be appreciated in the cases ’ ward rather than in a croaker’s clinic. The croaker’s conduct shows how ordinary they find the case’s problem, which is why they only use traditional treatments and don’t get to the root of the problem.

While Alessandro went into a coma and the remedy was ineffective in his condition, the time he spent with others made him happy. He could only recover because of the awful people around him. Mario stated that these caregivers were only there to diagnose the problem but no way to cure it. Some people suppose internal illness should be regularized. When individuals began to homogenize this conditioning and raise mindfulness, they believed they had done enough, yet the problem persisted. People are still spooked to admit their craziness because they're alarmed by what others may suppose of them. This is a common notion participated by individuals around the world, and it might be classified as mass psychosis. A nation of people customarily follows the same rules and does the same conditioning to avoid getting judged. Isn’t that insane? Anyone who violates this norm and wants to be free is considered a lunatic. So, Daniele and others who were rehabilitated for their contended “ madness ” believed that this psychiatric ward was the most healthy and normal place in the world where no one judges anyone.

‘ Everything Calls For Salvation ’ Ending Explained Why Was ‘ Salvation ’ The Word Daniele Was Looking For?

From Daniele to Nina, they all came to the psychiatric ward to get saved. To get saved from the long-lasting trauma, violent gesture, tone- deterioration, and pain of rejection. This may or may not be the place where people will ever find a cure for their illness, but I believe that it's one of those institutions one visits to be in terms of the issues one has in life. By interacting with others and understanding their pain, one discovers that they aren't the only ones suffering, and it makes one feel a bit less lonely. In the end, seeing other people’s sins makes it easier for you to accept your own. This makes you more compassionate toward other people.

In the series, the cases understood each other’s problems without judging them. They saved each other at the end of seven days. Although Mario, who asked to be free of all the impediments, entered his ultimate deliverance. I don’t suppose he merited it, but death is ineluctable. The remainder of the ward was distrait when Mario fell from the window. They were released from the installation one by one because life must go on. ultimately, on the final night, Alessandro appeared in his dreams. He prompted him to finish his poetry. Daniele completed the lyric, which he read at Mario’s burial. “ Everything calls me for deliverance, ” Daniele said.

Mario appeared calm and affable on the face, but on the inside, he was tortured by the horrible ruin of his history. Mario, like Daniele, turned aggressive towards his family during his breakdown. Daniele, on the other hand, was eaten by his parents, but Mario was not. In daylight, Mario sounded calm, but at night, his woman’s recollections tortured him through agonies. Mario tried to calm himself down by glancing out the window at a raspberry nesting in a tree. Mario went to feed the raspberry after seeing it for a long time and fell from the window. Though he was rehabilitated, he failed within many days. Daniele learned of his death and believed that Mario was now free of his excruciating pain. As a result, he devoted his final lyric to Mario and his deliverance. According to the Bible, the persecution of the Lord Jesus caused mortal misery and pain. Jesus failed to set people free from sin and suffering. This is how humanity was saved. therefore, Daniele used the word “ deliverance ” to indicate that we shouldn't look at Mario’s death as a woeful incident but as his deliverance from suffering. At the end of the day, all of them got their deliverance, including Nina as well. Salvation from the pain, conflicts, and dependence on medicines. I suppose there can not be a better word than “ deliverance ” for these people suffering from studies of their own.

“ Everything Calls for Salvation ” gradationally attaches us to the characters and ultimately breaks our hearts with Mario’s death. Indeed though Daniele’s character growth brilliantly fleshes out the story, the series aimed to portray the difference between the internal ward and the outside. Daniele’s perception of fools was wrong, and these fools turned out to be his factual and precious musketeers in the end. He indeed welcomes Nina when her weakness no longer bothers her. Nina and Daniele stand hand in hand in front of a pool with two options. Take a step back and run down from their fears or take a vault of faith and jump into the unknown together. originally, Daniele and Nina both took a step back. They believe they've nothing to prove to the rest of the world. They've formerly accepted who they are, so they don’t have to do this thing just because everyone differently does. Nina confesses that she's pregnant, and Daniele is overjoyed. They hold hands and decide to go ahead with a vital part of their lives. Will they jump into the void? perhaps. But what matters to us the most is the fact that whatever tragedy or happiness lies ahead of them, they will be facing them together.
