‘ My Name Is Vendetta ’ Ending, Explained Who Was Trying To Kill Santo? What Happens To Santo And Sofia?

“ My Name is Vendetta ” is an Italian crime suspense film released on Netflix that's just a repetition of an age-old story told so numerous times formerly. An ex-mafia henchman, Santo, sets out to take vengeance on his adversaries from history when his woman and family-in-law are mercilessly killed one fine day. On his way toward Milan and vengeance, Santo brings along his teenage son Sofia, adding one further age-old subcaste to the film that of a father and son set out on a dangerous adventure. It's safe to say that “ My Name is Vendetta ” absolutely fails to deliver an important effect on either of these two aspects and is fluently skippable unless you’re rigorously looking for just action.

‘ My Name Is Vendetta ’ Plot Summary What Is The Film About?

Somewhere in the northern region of Italy, the loving Romeo family is introduced as Santo and his cherished woman Ingrid are seen visiting an academy-position ice hockey match in which their daughter Sofia is sharing. While the mama is substantially unfit to understand why Sofia would be as aggressive as she's on the rink, the daughter seems to be more like her father, who encourages her to play hard and fair. Sofia also has a swain named Hakim, and Santo is fine with this, too, as long as the boy doesn't ever hurt his son. After the match, as a result of their palm, Sofia is taken out by Santo for an out-road adventure in their auto, as the girl has wanted to learn to drive on similar terrain for a long time. During this day out, Sofia dearly wishes to take a picture of herself with her father to put up on social media, but Santo rigorously tells her not to take any filmland of him. It has always been like this with Santo; he doesn't like or allow any of his family members to take any filmland of him. But Sofia is, of course, a teenager living in the Instagram world, and so she sneakily takes a print of her father and puts it up on the internet. Sofia, or anybody differently, is ignorant of it, but this print seems to start a chain response nearly in Milan as a group of menacing-looking men takes a close look at the snap.

On the veritably coming day, Santo stays back for a while at his wood-sawing plant to look after the ministry and rather sends his family-in-law Patrick to pick Sofia up from practice. Patrick does so and takes the girl home, where he also spends some warm time with his family Ingrid. still, this scene is snappily turned upside down when two fortified men break into the house and kill Patrick and Ingrid. The bushwhackers also take close filmland of Patrick’s face and also realize that there's a third person in the house as well — youthful Sofia. While they spend some time looking for the girl, Sofia stays hidden until the evening, when Santo returns home. Stumbling upon the horrible scene at his house, however, Santo spends no time mourning or trying to help his dead woman and rather takes his son down from the place. It seems the man has realized that the ghosts from his history are back for vengeance.

What Is Santo’s Real Identity? Who Is Trying To Kill Him?

As Santo and Sofia get down from their house to a string of safe houses to shirk their bushwhackers, the man originally stays silent about what's going on and just keeps instructing his son around. But Sofia, after all, is her father’s son, and soon she manages to throw a fit of rage enough for Santo to open up to her. It's now that Santo reveals that his name isn't Santo Romeo but Domenico Franze, and he was formerly part of the dangerous Sicilian cabal called the “ Ndrangheta. ” It was his family, Francis, who was part of the cabal syndicate, and thus, Santo noway really had any option but to grow up in a life of violence. As part of his domestic duties, which were in terms of the cabal rules, Santo, or Domenico, had stirred up trouble with their rival cabal family, the Lo Biancos. Due to reasons not mentioned in the film, Santo had killed the eldest son of cabal slip Angelo Lo Bianco and had caused a huge derangement in the rival family. Ever since also, Angelo Lo Bianco has been looking for Domenico Franze to exact vengeance for the murder of his son. But by that time, Santo had formerly putatively fallen in love with a woman named Ingrid and had wanted to settle down and start a new life with her. He didn't watch important for all the violence and bloodshed and just wanted a way to get down from it all. It was due to this that he'd fled from Milan and settled down in a remote city on the northern circumferences of the country; he'd also given up his given name of Domenico Franze and had rather taken on the identity of Santo Romeo. After the couple had their only child, Sofia, Santo was all the more determined to keep his woman and son safe from any detriment and was bent to noway be set up by the cabal again. This was precisely why he always kept averring that nothing took filmland of him, for Santo is a man apprehensive of the easy data breaches of the digital world.

Exactly this had happened, as we're also shown scenes from the Lo Bianco family in Milan as they prepare attacks on Santo. Don Angelo had gotten himself a new right-hand man, a tech expert by the name of Rudi Crisara. Before opening his own company, Crisara had worked with the government, and his moxie seems to be facial recognition technology. He'd searched the internet with an old image of Domenico Franze and been led to the recent Instagram post by Sofia. Sure that this was none other than the man they had been looking for, the Lo Biancos transferred their men to murder him and his family. still, the mugs inaptly killed the family- in law, Patrick, allowing that he was Santo, but Don Angelo could fluently understand that they had missed their factual target. Since that first attack, the cabal keeps transferring further men to track down and kill Santo and Sofia. While the two manage to escape each time, Sofia’s swain, Hakim, is killed by the culprits.

What Is Santo’s Plan To retaliate The Death Of His woman And Family- In- Law?

As news of the double murder breaks out on TV, the police identify the missing Santo as the notorious cabal henchman Domenico Franze, whom they, too, had been looking for all these times. With the police, as well as the cabal mugs, all chasing him and his son, Santo decides to go to Milan to seek vengeance himself. Since there's nothing different, he can entrust Sofia with, he decides to take the girl along with him as well and gradationally give her training too. It just seems like Santo had been living a different life for all these times, but the brutal murder of his favored bones had transferred him back to his old vicious tone. In the cutter-yielding training that he gives to Sofia, he ensures that the girl learns to use the cutter, not in a way to kill her victim too snappily but rather in a way that would make her victim flashback her face before dying. Moving on from similar horrible parenthood, Santo makes a marvelous plan for seeking vengeance — while his whole situation was because he'd boggled the elder Lo Bianco's, son, he now plans to abduct the youngish son and hold him hostage. This youngish son, Michele, had also been introduced before, and the man is more invested in his duties as a businessman than those of a member of the cabal family. He's seen to have dissensions with his father as well but isn't strong enough to overrule the slip’s opinions. Meanwhile, Don Angelo employs Rudi Crisara to now track down Santo and Sofia from the public business and security cameras in the megacity of Milan. Despite similar measures, however, the mafia henchman makes his way to the megacity and, together with the help of his son, kidnaps Michele Lo Bianco from his office. He also leaves a communication for Don Angelo — the cabal master is to confess to the police about all his crimes over the last thirty times and also to give proper substantiation about all his cohorts and network of finances, or differently, Santo will kill his youngish son as well, just like he'd killed his elder child. Santo believes that Don Angelo might negotiate with him to save his son, but the cabal master is more determined to save his character and business than to cover his frequently-disagreeable son. He sends further men to Santo and Sofia’s position, and Santo has to fight them off alone to cover themselves from murder.

‘ My Name Is Vendetta ’ Ending Explained What Happens To Santo And Sofia In The End?

Meanwhile, Sofia and Michele have been alone in the safehouse where Santo had kept Lo Bianco hostage, and Michele now tries to move the girl that both of them are in an analogous situation. Just like Sofia had been forced into this life of caching and escaping all of the unforeseen, Michele says, he too has been forced to be a part of his family’s blood-thirsty violence. He also tells the girl that her father had killed his elder family, and Sofia seems to question her father’s conduct, at least for a brief second. Just also, receives a call from Santo, who explains that he has gone on a charge with no return, and we're shown illustrations of the same. Realizing that Don Angelo Lo Bianco would not stop at anything, Santo goes over to his lavish house, which also seems to be the cabal headquarters. He wipes out all the security himself. He also enters Angelo’s room and strangles him to death. But Santo was veritably apprehensive that such an action would veritably snappily draw the police onto him, and this is exactly what happen. Knowing that his and his son’s lives were too damaged anyway, Santo makes it feel like he's about to pull out a gun, and the police incontinently shoot him dead. The authorities also find out about the safehouse and deliverance of Michele and Sofia from there, with the ultimate being put up at an unqualified orphanage.

As time passes, Michele Lo Bianco visits the orphanage and meets with Sofia. He promises her that he wants to stop the gratuitous blood feud between Lo Bianco's and Franze's families and asks her to meet him once she leaves the orphanage. Many times feel to pass, and Sofia leaves the orphanage as soon as she turns eighteen. Still holding recollections of her father veritably dear to her heart, she goes over to Michele’s office to meet him. It becomes clear that Michele wanted to kill her, for he now wanted vengeance for the death of his father and had transferred Crisara to look for her at the orphanage. But Sofia herself is driven by the same intention, for she identifies herself as a Franze, as the member of the family that her father had fought for and given his life for as well. She stabs Michele to his death and ensures that he remembers who killed him as he suffocates in his blood for thirty seconds. With her vengeance charge now complete, Sofia walks out into the megacity and blends in with the crowd, just like her father had tried to do. She'll maybe noway again put up any filmland of herself on Instagram after all this.
